Wenige waren so befähigt wie und so gewillt wie er, die mit Steiner verbundenen Intentionemn in einem zentralen Zivilisationsfelds umzusetzen. Noll war stehts bereit alles für den Lehrer und die Entwicklung einer anthroposophisch erweiterten Medizin zu tun.Er leistete viel, dennoch musste er trotz seiner Begabungen und Voraussetzungen hinter seinen eigentlichen Aufgaben zurückbleiben, worunter er nachhaltig litt.
Abstract
Ludwig Noll was the first physician working with Rudolf Steiner. He did important work and had outstanding qualities both as a physician and a pharmacist, yet was unable to cope fully with the demands made. The way he followed the development of anthroposophical teaching and medical practice lacked continuity, though Rudolf Steiner maintained the personal connection for a long time. Their ways had parted, but Ludwig Noll was nevertheless called in as a physician when Rudolf Steiner was on his deathbed, continuing to be his physician and friend to the end.
