Zusammenfassung
Der tropische Baum Vataireopsis [Andira] araroba produziert in seinem Holz ein anthranoidhaltiges Exkret (Goa-Pulver, Chrysarobin), das zur äußeren Behandlung von Psoriasis u.a. Hautkrankheiten verwendet wurde, heute allerdings weitgehend obsolet ist und durch die synthetisch hergestellte Reinsubstanz Dithranol ersetzt wurde. Der Baum wird vor dem Hintergrund eines Wesensbildes der Ordnung der Leguminosen (Hülsenfruchtartigen) charakterisiert. Seine sekundären Inhaltsstoffe werden ausführlich behandelt. Es folgt eine menschenkundliche Diagnose der Psoriasis. Um die Ratio der Psoriasis-Behandlung mit Chrysarobin zu begründen, wird mit einem geisteswissenschaftlich erweiterten goetheanistischen Ansatz eine Brücke zwischen den morphologischen und stofflichen Eigentümlichkeiten des Baumes und der Psoriasis geschlagen. Die wirksamen Inhaltsstoffe erweisen sich als verwandt und zugleich polar zu den ätherischen Ölen.- Im Anhang folgt ein Überblick über Historie, Wirkungs- und Anwendungsweise von Dithranol (Anthralin, Cignolin) als Chrysarobinersatz in der modernen Psoriasistherapie.
Abstract
The wood of Vataireopsis [Andira] araroba produces an excretion containing anthranoids (Goa powder, chrysarobine), formerly used externally to treat psoriasis and other skin conditions but largely obsolete today, with the synthetic pure substance dithranol taking their place. The tree is characterized against the background of the essential properties of the Leguminosae. Its secondary constituents are considered in detail. Next, an anthroposophical diagnosis of psoriasis is given. The rationale of treating psoriasis with chrysarobine is established using an anthroposophically enhanced Goethean approach to build a bridge from the morphological and material properties of the tree to psoriasis. The active principles prove to be related to and at the same time polar opposites of essential oils. An appendix gives an overview of the history, mode of action and method of use of dithranol (an thralin, cignolin) as a replacement of chrysarobine in modern psoriasis treatment.
